Riverton Economic and Community Development Association
RECDA is a community forum where people come together to discuss, plan and put forward ideas about the community. It is held the fourth Wednesday of every month at the Holiday Inn Convention Center in Riverton. Business and community leaders attend to discuss what is going on with their business or organization and to hear about new businesses or organizations in the community.

Additionally, Gary Michaud, City of Riverton Community Development Director, gave an update about Brownfield grants.
A Brownfield site is a property or land where redevelopment or reuse may be difficult due to the presence or possible presence of hazardous materials. Brownfield grants can provide free planning and environmental services for those sites.
